Meet the Vocational Education and CTE Team!

Dr. Carmelita Graham, Director of Vocational Education & CTE
​Dr. Graham has been spearheading Career & Technical Education programs for Egg Harbor Township School District Prior to being named Egg Harbor Township School District's Director of Vocational Education and Career & Technical Education in June of 2022, Dr. Graham served as the district's Supervisor of Career and Technical Education & Instructional Technology, responsible for management of the Carl D. Perkins Grant and overseeing eight program areas including Food and Nutrition, Telecommunications and Networking, Education and Training, Graphic Production, CAAD, Business Administration, Automotive, and Web Design. Preceding her supervisor position, Dr. Graham served as a district technology trainer for nearly a decade before being named Supervisor. As a Technology Trainer, Dr. Graham was responsible for training teachers, administrators, and staff on technology hardware and software used to effectively integrate technology that would enhance student learning into the curriculum. Dr. Graham is a member of the State Educational Technology Committee and has presented at serveral workshops and conferences including Techspo, Delaware Instructional Technology Conference, SRI/ETTC's From My Classroom To Yours, NJAET's Technology Conference, and the Conference on Equity and Social Justice at Stockton University. Dr. Graham received her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Curriculum, Technology, and Higher Education from the University of Delaware, her Master's Degree in Educational Technology as well as her Bachelor of Science degree from Stockton University.

​Donna Vassallo, PACE Program College Liaison
As the PACE and YTTW Program College Liaison, Donna works closely with the high school guidance team, faculty and staff, grant program coordinator, and  the director to  meet PACE grant goals, secure new higher education and business partner relationships, expand college credit offerings for EHTHS students, advocate for EHTHS's Early College Model program and dual credit enrollment opportunities as they pertain to PACE, establish partnerships with new stakeholders who are interested in creating Pre-Apprenticeship opportunities for EHTHS students, explore student scholarship opportunites, and collaborate with higher education partners to provide career exploration, college pathways, career planning, college advisement, and registration assistsance to EHTHS students. 
Donna is the Principal/Owner of Inclusive Outliers, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in leadership development and high education partnerships devoted to championing diversity, equity and inclusion. She was previously the Dean of Professional Studies, High School Initiatives and Internships at Atlantic Cape Community College, the College’s Chief Perkins Officer, Dean of Career Education and Workforce Development and Dean of the Worthington Atlantic City Campus where she assumed dual duties as Atlantic Cape’s Chief Workforce Development Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Donna joined Atlantic Cape in 1989 as an adjunct faculty member in the Hospitality Management and Business Administration divisions and, during her academic career, assumed numerous promotional positions as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Area Coordinator of Professional Studies.

​Ellen Gregory, Vocational and Community Education Coordinator
Ellen works closely with the Director of Vocational Education and CTE, College Liaison, and Pre-Apprenticeship Instructor to explore and secure apprenticeship opportunities for students, while building strong relationships with external partners. Ellen researches and solicits grants for the district; coordinates and develops community education programming; and drafts press releases that champion student and district successes. Formerly the district's Director of Development, Ellen also serves as the Alumni point person; Executive Director and Secretary of the Community Partnership for Egg Harbor Township Schools, Inc.; and community and vendor outreach coordinator for the annual #EHTPride Festival. Ellen has a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Rowan University (formerly Glassboro State College) and has worked for Egg Harbor Township Schools since 2005. ​
