About Egg Harbor Township Schools
Egg Harbor Township Schools is a comprehensive public school district that serves Township students in eight schools from PK through 12th grade. Established in 1914, Egg Harbor Township Schools is the largest district in Atlantic County, NJ, and serves a diverse and unwavering population of approximately 7,400 students who are backed by 1,200 enthusiastic and passionate staff members, and a dedicated 9-member volunteer Board of Education.
Egg Harbor Township School District has earned the respect of its educational peers by being named a Model Program by the NJ Department of Education' World Languages Model Programs; a Model School in the Arts presented by NJ Model Schools in the Arts Project; a two-time recipient of the U.S. Department of Education's National Green Ribbon School award; a three-time recipient of the NJ Governor's Environmental Excellence Award; recipient of the Sustainable Jersey for Schools' Green Team Collaboration and Leadership Awards; and two-time recipient of the U.S. Department of Environmental Protection Agency's Environmental Quality Award. We are also home to the 2013 Boys Indoor Track State Champions and the 2017 Group IV Girls Softball State Champs!
